Ballarat: Race 6 (8:34pm)
Same Race Multi

Trending Air will take winning form into the sixth at Ballarat tonight and looks good to make it two in a row.

The daughter of Fernando Bale hasn’t missed placing at her last five and was utterly dominant at Geelong last time out.

There isn’t a lot of value left in her win quote, so I am instead going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi, and build out my bet further with Super Big running into the first three and She’s Serious running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Trending Air (Win)
  • 2 Super Big (Top 3)
  • 3 She’s Serious (Top 4)
Ballarat: Race 7 (8:58pm)
No. 7 Zulu Eyes

Zulu Eyes has improved with racing recently and strikes a winnable contest at Ballarat tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale was checked out of her last start and I am happy to put a pen through the run, but her form prior to that effort was excellent, and included three wins from four starts.

She has the speed to overcome the wide draw and with even luck, she’ll be hard to beat.

Ballarat: Race 8 (9:19pm)
No. 2 Ulricken Bale

He’ll need luck with a couple of good ones drawn either side, but Ulricken Bale shapes as a key winning chance in the eighth at Ballarat tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale charged in to score over 525m at Wagga two starts back, but was another that was completely undone by poor luck last time.

He has the ability to go forward from the draw and if he does, he’ll be tough to catch.

Ballarat: Race 9 (9:38pm)
No. 6 Drako Bale

On face value, Box 5 doesn’t look terrific, but a couple of key scratchings has depleted this field and Drako Bale can win.

The son of Dyna Villa has been a strong and largely consistent performer this campaign and charged in to score at The Meadows two starts back, before filling the minors behind Carry On Liam last time out.

With even luck, he certainly has the ability to win.
