Gosford: Race 4 (7:58pm)
No. 4 Suzie's Face

Suzie’s Face has drawn awkwardly, but she shapes as the runner to beat in the fourth at Gosford tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale recorded three impressive wins in succession at The Gardens through May and was completely undone by poor luck when leaving from a wide draw last time, and I am happy to put a pen through the run.

She can use her box speed to go forward, and she’ll give them something to chase.

Gosford: Race 5 (8:18pm)
Same Race Multi

Blazin’ Ringo is drawn to receive all the favours in the fifth at Gosford tonight and will take plenty of beating.

The son of Mepunga Blazer has found form around some talented chasers recently, and flashed late to finish second behind Coal Blaster at The Gardens, having left from Box 8.

There isn’t a whole lot of value left in his win quote, so I’m instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi, and fill out my ticket with Encouraging running into the first three and Blazin’ Sophia finishing in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Blazin’ Ringo (Win)
  • 5 Encouraging (Top 3)
  • 2 Blazin’ Sophia (Top 4)
Gosford: Race 6 (8:38pm)
No. 1 Classic Reign

Classic Reign looks to have found top gear, and she can record another win in the sixth at Gosford tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale was a model of consistency earlier in her prep, but she has gone to another level recently, and she has won each of her last three starts in impressive fashion.

She can go straight to the lead tonight from Box 1 and will be tough to catch.

Gosford: Race 9 (9:38pm)
No. 1 Corless Crazy

Corless Crazy strikes a winnable race at Gosford tonight.

The son of Keybow doesn’t win out of turn, but he has returned some eye-catching efforts in decent races recently, and he looks to have conditions to suit tonight.

His box speed and draw suggest that he’ll go straight to the lead, and he’ll be in this for a long way.
