Cursed is drawn to receive all the favours in the seventh at The Gardens this evening and can record another win.
The son of Kinloch Brae has been a typically strong and consistent performer this campaign and hasn’t missed placing at his last eight appearances, winning three times.
He can lob into a nice position from Box 1 and will take plenty of beating again.
Songar Rose has only made one appearance at the races so far, but she could hardly have been more impressive on debut, and she can continue her rise through the grades tonight.
The daughter of Dyna Double One went straight to the lead here last week and never looked in doubt, comfortably winning and returning a fast time.
She can go straight to the lead again tonight and she will give them something to chase.
She’ll need to be at her best, but Miss Gabrielle looks ideally suited to the ninth at The Gardens tonight and is up to winning.
The daughter of Fernando Bale has certainly mixed her form recently, but her last start effort and this track and distance was outstanding.
She is faced with virtually identical conditions tonight and I am happy to stick with her.
This looks to be a race in two between Rachel’s Star and Ibrox Avatar, so I’m going to have a Same Race Multi.
Rachel’s Star doesn’t win out of turn, but this is probably the easiest race that she has contested for a little while and she is drawn to get the gun run, while Ibrox Avatar’s class edge should take him a long way in a race like this one.
I can’t split them, so I’m going to select both runners to finish in the first two, and build out my bet further with Sequin running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Rachel’s Star (Top 2)
- 7 Ibrox Avatar (Top 2)
- 1 Sequin (Top 4)
