Echuca: Race 3 (2:30pm)
No. 6 Free Wilma

Free Wilma will take plenty of improvement into her second campaign task and is primed to win.

The daughter of Nicconi has placed in three of four starts since debuting and only just missed at Bendigo when resuming a couple of weeks ago.

She’ll need luck from the wide draw, but will be in the finish with a similar effort.

Echuca: Race 4 (3pm)
No. 7 Johnny Buccaneer

Johnny Buccaneer is unlucky not to have recorded a maiden win since resuming this time, but can get it at Echuca this afternoon.

The three-year-old son of Vancouver filled the minors at Stony Creek when fresh and has finished second in runs at Bairnsdale and Benalla in the wake.

He looks to be at peak fitness for this race and will take beating.

Echuca: Race 7 (4:30pm)
No. 8 Nevershotthedeputy

Nevershotthedeputy hasn’t been seen at the races since December, but she races well fresh and can make a winning return at Echuca this afternoon.

The Written Tycoon filly broke her maiden at Yarra Valley when resuming last time and continued to race well as the bar was raised.

She has options from the rails draw and can fight out the finish.

Echuca: Race 8 (5pm)
No. 6 Miss Sarasota

Miss Sarasota is another runner with winning claims fresh at Echuca this afternoon.

The Pierro filly finished fourth on debut at Sale last July before breaking her maiden in style at Cranbourne.

Having gone back to the paddock after finishing midfield in BM58 company, she has reportedly flourished in her time away from the track and is primed for a big first-up showing.
