The classy sone of Magic Sprite has been a strong and consistent performer this campaign and hasn’t missed placing at his last eight starts.
He can go straight to the lead and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.
Ebby Jet Power boasts a class edge over most of his rivals in Race 7 at Wentworth Park tonight and looks the one to beat again.
The son of Fernando Bale has found form around some quality chasers this campaign and enters this race off the back of a smart win at this track and distance.
He will need to step well from Box 7, but if he does that, he’ll be right in the finish once more.
This looks to be one of the more open contests on the program and a chaser like Newbury has claims on winning, at a nice price ($14 at publish).
Newbury doesn’t win out of turn, but he also rarely races poorly, and he has form around some good greyhounds this prep.
He can take a position on the pace from Box 2 and we can have an each-way play at the quote.
