Wentworth Park: Race 4 (8:05pm)
No. 6 Nitroglycerine

Nitroglycerine will take winning form into the fourth at Wentworth Park tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The son of Barcia Bale has won four of his last eight starts, bouncing back into the winner’s stall via a slick performance from out wide here last week.

He’ll have the benefit of an empty box on his inside and with even luck, he can fight out the finish again.

Wentworth Park: Race 5 (8:25pm)
No. 3 Simply Smudge

Simply Smudge is seeking a hat-trick of wins when he steps out at Wentworth Park tonight and I’m keen to back him again.

The classy son of Fernando Bale rarely runs a bad race, but his last two performances in particular have been impressive, and he broke the clock here last week.

If he steps well from Box 3, he can win again.

Wentworth Park: Race 7 (9:06pm)
No. 6 Ivy Conniving

Ivy Conniving looks primed to return to winning form at Wentworth Park tonight.

The daughter of Barcia Bale has been in typically strong and consistent form this time, and charged in under similar conditions here two back before finishing a close-up second behind Nitroglycerine last time out.

She can use her box speed to overcome the draw and will take beating.

Wentworth Park: Race 11 (10:22pm)
Same Race Multi

I’m going to have a Same Race Multi in the last at Wentworth Park tonight.

Serious Object has clearly found peak condition, and recorded consecutive wins before filling the minors in a better race last time out.

He can control this race from Box 2, so I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet with Five Second Rule running into the first three and Flashing Torque running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 2 Serious Object (Win)
  • 8 Five Second Rule (Top 3)
  • 4 Flashing Torque (Top 4)
