Gosford: Race 6 (8:38pm)
No. 4 Fernando Tree

Fernando Tree has returned some lovely efforts recently and is ready to win at Gosford tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale doesn’t win out of turn, but she also rarely races poorly, and she enters this race off a credible second under difficult conditions at Wentworth Park.

If she steps well, this looks the perfect race for her.

Gosford: Race 7 (8:58pm)
Same Race Multi

This looks to be Arctic Kingdom’s race to lose, and I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi.

Arctic Kingdom flew home to finish second from a central box to finish second over 384m last time out and can settle closer to the pace from Box 2 tonight.

To pump up my odds, I’m also going to select both Ibrox Poser and Texas Target to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 2 Arctic Kingdom (Win)
  • 4 Ibrox Poser (Top 4)
  • 8 Texas Target (Top 4)
Gosford: Race 8 (9:18pm)
No. 5 Blazing Snap

Blazing Snap boasts a class edge over the lion’s share of his rivals in the eighth at Gosford tonight and can return to winning form.

The son of Fernando Bale has won give of his las eight starts, two of which at this track and distance and in slick time.

He can use his box speed to overcome the draw and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Gosford: Race 11 (10:19pm)
No. 2 Petite Tiger

Petite Tiger is drawn to receive all of the favours in the penultimate contest at Gosford tonight and can return to winning form.

The son daughter of Fernando Bale charged in to record a lovely win over 400m at Bulli three starts back and has been undone by poor luck at her last two.

She’s another runner who can go forward tonight and she’ll give them something to chase.
