best bet
Sandown: Race 4 (7:43pm)
No. 3 Papi Go Fast

Papi Go Fast is yet to run a poor race over this distance having now found the placings in all four attempts.

The son of Fernando Bale was a comfortable last start winner over a touch further at The Meadows and has plenty of early speed to put most of these to bed in a hurry.

After running on well for third two runs back over this track and trip, he’s the one to beat.

Sandown: Race 6 (8:25pm)
Same Race Multi

Tough to knock the form of Zipping Rambo following last week’s brilliant 5.5L win at The Meadows over a similar trip.

He’s drawn to get the gun run in transit from Box 1, and will no doubt take a power of beating with two wins on the board at Sandown.

Bounce Back looks a likely place-getter after rattling off back-to-back wins at The Meadows a fortnight ago prior to last week’s defeat at this venue over 715m.

Low Blow mixes his form, but he was a consistent customer last month winning two starts at Warragul and Bendigo by comfortable margins. He’s also coming off back-to-back fourth’s at this venue from much tougher draws.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Zipping Rambo (Win)
  • 8 Bounce Back (Top 3)
  • 2 Low Blow (Top 4)
Sandown: Race 11 (10:11pm)
No. 7 Desert Flame

Desert Flame looks great value to bounce back from a luckless run at The Meadows last week when six of eight over a touch further.

The daughter of Cosmic Rumble recorded a six-length win over this track and trip four runs back where she clocked a blazing time of 29.40 seconds.

With even luck from out wide, she should be doing her best work late.

Sandown: Race 12 (10:31pm)
No. 5 She’s So Amazing

It’s been a while in between drinks for She’s So Amazing, but she does appear to be working towards another win following a last start fourth over this track and trip.

This is a drop back in class for the daughter of Fernando Bale, and with plenty of early speed under the hood, she should be able to shuffle across and run the race on her own terms.

The $4.20 on offer is a great price and I’m confident she’ll be fighting out the finish.
