Wentworth Park: Race 5 (8:08pm AEDT)
No. 4 Zipping Kyrgios

Zipping Kyrgios is seeking a hat-trick of wins when he steps out in the first Golden Easter Egg Semi tonight and I’m confident that he can pull it off.

The son of Aussie Infrared simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and he has won six of his last eight starts in impressive fashion.

With even luck from the central draw, and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Wentworth Park: Race 6 (8:38pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Tommy Shelby will step out in the second Golden Easter Egg Semi tonight and he is drawn to receive all the favours from Box 1.

He is one of the country’s best chasers and is a multiple Group 1 winner, and because there’s little value left in his win quote, I’m instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi.

For value, I’m also going to select both Fire On Ice and Zulu Warlord to run into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Tommy Shelby (Win)
  • 3 Fire On Ice (Top 4)
  • 6 Zulu Warlord (Top 4)

No. 2 Wow

Wow will take winning form into his Golden Easter Egg Semi tonight and is primed to win again.

The son of Fernando Bale has been a strong and consistent performer all campaign and has won six of his last eight starts, finishing second on the other two occasions.

He can go forward from Box 2 and will be hard to catch.

No. 2 Kurious Motion

This is the race that Flying Ricciardo will contest and while he’ll obviously take a power of beating, I think that Kurios Motion is the one who could knock him off, and we can have an each-way plat at her $18 quote.

Kurios Motion has returned plenty of pleasing efforts this prep and has found form around some of the country’s best chasers.

She was well beaten by Fernando Bluey, but ran home well to finish second at a nice price last week and I’m confident that she can do something similar in this.
