Sandown: Race 2 (3:05pm AEDT)
No. 7 Salamanders

Salamanders has improved for two starts since debuting and is primed to strike at Sandown this afternoon.

The Animal Kingdom filly finished second on debut at Ballarat and ran home well after settling back to finish fourth behind stable mate Camaguey at Sale last time out.

Fitter third-up, the $6 available at publish looks a touch of overs.

Sandown: Race 4 (4:15pm AEDT)
No. 9 Quietly Discreet

Quietly Discreet looks to have serious claims on winning fresh at Sandown this afternoon.

The Exceed And Excel filly was a strong and consistent performer last time in, and recorded consecutive wins at Morphettville most notably.

She has had the benefit of a trial in the lead-up to her return and she is drawn to receive every chance under Jamie Kah.

Sandown: Race 5 (4:50pm AEDT)
No. 7 Circle Of Magic

Circle Of Magic looks well placed to win at Sandown today, and she is over the odds at around the $10 mark.

The Per Incanto filly broke her maiden at Kilmore when resuming in January and has returned positive efforts to finish fifth at Caulfield and second over 1200m here most recently.

Jamie Kah stays aboard, and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.

Sandown: Race 8 (6:30pm AEDT)
No. 8 Excelleration

Excelleration was excellent during his debut prep and can make a winning return at Sandown this evening.

The Excelebration gelding stamped himself as a runner to follow when comfortably winning on debut at Terang, and he was last seen finishing second in a better race here at Sandown.

He looks to be a horse with a future and I am happy to be with him fresh.
