Mornington: Race 1 (1:30pm AEDT)
No. 1 Akaka Falls

Akaka Falls has improved for two starts back this time and is ready to win at Mornington today.

Fitter third-up and from the rails draw, he’s ready to win.

Mornington: Race 4 (3pm AEDT)
No. 7 Newzeel Deal

Newzeel Deal will take plenty of improvement into his second campaign start at Mornington today and is ready to break his maiden.

The Dundeel colt has made five appearances at the races since debuting, finishing second twice, and ending his last prep fourth in Listed company most notably.

He clearly needed the run when his condition gave out at Pakenham when resuming, and this looks the perfect race for him.

Mornington: Race 6 (4pm AEDT)
No. 4 Wild Cherry Road

Wild Cherry Road hasn’t been seen at the races since November, but she races extremely well fresh, and she can make a winning return his afternoon.

The Holy Roman Emperor filly broke her maiden at Cranbourne when resuming last time and continued to race well around some quality horses as the bar was raised.

She takes weight from her key rival in Hummalong this afternoon and she is drawn to receive a lovely run in transit.

Mornington: Race 8 (5pm AEDT)
No. 7 Limited Vision

Limited Vision will take winning from into the last race at Mornington this afternoon and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The Lonhro gelding finished midfield at Geelong on debut in November and was immediately put away and resumed with an eye-catching effort to easily win at Sale.

This is harder, but it is the next logical step and he can win again.
