Ballarat: Race 3 (6:58pm AEDT)
No. 7 Cruising Ruby

Cruising Ruby has been in the money in three of her four starts this time in work and absolutely loves racing over the 390m.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has found the money in four of her six starts over the track and trip and has plenty of early speed to burn.

She has her work cut out with Zulu Eyes in the field but looks the rightful favourite based on recent efforts.

Ballarat: Race 6 (7:38pm AEDT)
No. 8 Kaheem Bale

Kaheem Bale has won four of his last five starts by comfortable margins and looks a good bet to add to that record over his preferred trip.

The two-year-old is a three-time winner over this distance and has done some of his best racing at Ballarat.

He owns a 25.04 second PB over this track and trip and should prove tough to beat.

Ballarat: Race 8 (8:17pm AEDT)
No. 7 Taken

Taken resumes from a spell looking to add to his brilliant record over this trip.

The two-year-old by Fernando Bale is a nine-time winner over the 450m and has also found the money in all three of his starts at this venue.

He loves racing from out wide and should be in this for a long way.

Ballarat: Race 11 (9:22pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Invictus Spirit has been a consistent customer of late winning two-from-four this time in work.

He was enormous last week at Geelong winning by 4.5L and very rarely puts a foot wrong.

Lily’s Lad has the runs on the board over this trip and his recent form makes for easy reading.

Pai Gow Poker owns a 21.91 PB over this track and trip and is capable of running a place if he settles on speed.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 3 Invictus Spirit (Win)
  • 1 Lily’s Lad (Top 3)
  • 7 Pai Gow Poker (Top 4)
