Another tough day to cap the NBA, with hardly any games having available lines – thanks Adam Silver. I’m looking to take Phoenix -1.5 here, with the assumption that all their key men are available and that KD is out.
This is a poor situational spot for the Nets, their 3rd game in 4 nights as part of a cross-country road trip. They’re also without their best player here, against a rising team that matches up well against them.
Despite this being a national tv game, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a late scratching of Kyrie or Harden. Should they both play, I think Phoenix has some good defensive matchups in the form of CP3 and Miles Bridges. DeAndre Ayton should also be able to feast on the interior.
Brooklyn are a poor 6-7 straight up and 5-8 ATS on the road this season, while Phoenix are 10-4 in both categories. The Suns have also won and covered in 9 of their last 10 games. Assuming full health here, I think -1.5 points is a +EV bet and would expect this line to only go up.
