Both sides are currently equal at $1.90 here and I’m going to take Memphis to win straight up. The Rockets are winless in their last 10 and appear to be playing for draft position at this point.
They’re also dealing with a few key injuries, with Oladipo and Wood already ruled out here. Given that it’s the first game of a b2b, you have to wonder how many minutes John Wall will get here too.
The Grizzlies have been a solid road side this season, going 7-5 straight up and ATS. With the exception of Jaren Jackson, they’re now much healthier and look to be competing for one of the playoff spots.
I think they’re the more talented team here and they’ve also got more to play for. Getting them at even money seems like great value to me.
To get blown out by a fatigued Wizards side yesterday shows just how bad this Wolves team is. They’re horrendous on both ends and I think the single digit spread here just isn’t enough.
This is a terrible spot for Minnesota – playing a b2b in their first game at home after an extended road trip. Phoenix enter this game rested and healthy, with a real chance to overtake the LA sides in the standings.
The Suns are already one of the better road sides in the NBA, going 10-5 straight up and ATS. Their recent form has also been excellent, winning and covering in 8 of their last 10. If we get something close to Phoenix’s best effort here, this is a game they should win by double digits.
