Meat Pie Hero is drawn to get the gun run in Race 5 at Gosford tonight and can return to winning form.
He doesn’t win out of turn, but he has raced well and found form around some quality chasers recently, and he probably won’t be offered a better opportunity than this.
I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet with Aspen Park running into the first three and On The Bus the first four.

Montanna Keeping will take plenty of beating in the seventh at Gosford tonight.
The daughter of Flying Fired Up has been racing well in strong company this campaign and was last seen flashing home from a central box to finish second at this track and distance.
She can go straight to the lead from the inside draw tonight and will be tough to catch.
Guy Incognito is another runner whose chance of winning tonight have been enhanced by an inside draw.
The son of La Grand Logie doesn’t win out of turn, but he also rarely runs a bad race, and ran home well to finish second behind Brockie Road at The Gardens last time.
He can navigate to a nice spot in transit and will be hard to hold out.
Like Keroma has only made three appearances at the races so far, but he is clearly a chaser of ability and he can record another win at Gosford tonight.
The son of Dyna Double One was an impressive winner on debut before placing second-up, missing the jump and never getting into the contest last time out.
He’ll take further improvement into this race and can continue his rise through the grades.
