The Meadows: Race 5 (7:58pm AEDT)
No. 7 Fernando Cazz

Fernando Cazz has been outstanding this campaign and looks the one to beat in Heat 2 for the Australian Cup.

The daughter of Fernando Bale simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and she has won six of her last eight starts, including the Group 1 Rookie Rebel last time out.

With even luck from out wide, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.

The Meadows: Race 6 (8:18pm AEDT)
No. 4 Wow

Wow has gone to another level recently and is the runner to beat again in Race 6 at The Meadows tonight.

The son of Fernando Bale has won each of his last eight starts in impressive fashion, including two Group 1 races most recently.

Like Fernando Cazz, he needs only even luck to be winning again.

The Meadows: Race 7 (8:40pm AEDT)
No. 5 Tommy Shelby

Group 1 winner Tommy Shelby can win passage through to next week’s Australian Cup Final by taking out Heat 4 tonight.

Tommy Shelby has been typically excellent throughout his campaign and has found form around some of the country’s best chasers.

He has good form across the board and can fight out the finish once more.

The Meadows: Race 8 (9:03pm AEDT)
No. 7 Shima Shine

Star chaser Shima Shine will contest Heat 5 and can also win his way into next weekend’s final.

Shima Shine has won five of his last eight starts including the Group 1 Gold Bullion in Brisbane two starts back.

He has a class edge over his rivals and with appropriate luck, he too will be hard to beat.
