Richmond: Race 3 (7:57pm AEDT)
No. 8 Zipping Kyrgios

Zipping Kyrgios has been outstanding this campaign and looks the one to beat in the first Richmond Derby Heat tonight.

The son of Aussie Infrared hasn’t finished worse than second at his last eight starts and has certainly gone to a new level recently, winning his last three.

He has been good from wide draws previously and I’m happy to stick with him here.

Richmond: Race 4 (8:19pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Wow has well and truly lived up to his name recently and he will take a power of beating in the second Richmond Derby Heat.

The classy son of Fernando Bale goes not know how to run a bad race, and he recorded consecutive wins in Group 1 company two and three starts back.

There isn’t much value left in his quote, so I am instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my ticket with both Utah Express and Romantic Storm running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 6 Wow (Win)
  • 3 Utah Surprise (Top 4)
  • No 8 Romantic Storm (Top 4)
each way
Richmond: Race 7 (9:19pm AEDT)
No. 6 Emmy's Shark

Heat 2 for the Richmond Oaks looks to be one of the more open contests of the night, and Emmy’s Shark has claims on winning at a lovely price ($7.50 at publish).

The daughter of Fernando Bale has enjoyed a lovely start to her racing career and has recorded four wins and two placings from her seven starts.

She’ll need some luck from Box 6, but she definitely has the ability with a clear run.

Richmond: Race 9 (9:57pm AEDT)
No. 3 Super Estrella

Super Estrella is chasing a hat-trick of wins when she contests the fourth Richmond Oaks Heat and she looks good to pull it off.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has been a model of consistency since debuting, but her last two efforts have been particularly impressive.

With a clear run tonight, I think she’ll be winning.
