Richmond: Race 5 (8:38pm AEDT)
No. 2 Royal Emgrand

Royal Emgrand doesn’t know how to run a bad race and looks the one to beat in the fifth at Richmond tonight.

The son of Shima Bar hasn’t missed placing at his last eight appearances, winning four times, and he was last seen finishing a close-up second behind the talented Zipping Sapporo at Wentworth Park.

He can go forward tonight and will be hard to beat.

Richmond: Race 6 (8:57pm AEDT)
No. 8 Connections

Connections puts an unbeaten record on the line in the sixth at Richmond tonight and can win again.

The son of Fernando Bale has won each of his four starts since debuting in November and has been utterly dominant on each occasion.

With luck from out wide, there is no reason why he can’t win again.

Richmond: Race 7 (9:17pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Collecting Model will have the benefit of an empty box on her outside tonight and she can return to winning form.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has only made six appearances at the races so far, but she looks to be a class type, and she has reeled off some fast times, so I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi.

For value, I’m also going to select All Most There to finish in the first three and Legacies to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 4 Collecting Model (Win)
  • 6 All Most There (Top 3)
  • 7 Legacies (Top 4)
Richmond: Race 9 (9:57pm AEDT)
No. 5 Zipping Winks

Zipping Winks is yet to return a poor effort and strikes another winnable race at Richmond tonight.

The daughter of My Redeemer won each of her first two career starts and was last seen racing home well to fill the minors over 400m at The Gardens.

She needs only even luck from Box 5 (from which she has won previously) to be in the finish again.
