No. 5 Bury Road

Bury Road has improved for two starts since debuting and is ready to break his maiden at Benalla this afternoon.

The Frankel colt finished fifth on debut at Caulfield and was last seen filling the minors behind Rich Dane at Sale.

With further improvement and from the good draw, he looks the runner to beat.

Wagga: Race 4 (3:05pm AEDT)
No. 13 Without Equal

Without Equal has improved for two starts back from a spell and is ready to win at Wagga this afternoon.

The four-year-old son of Curata Storm finished midfield at Moruya when resuming and charged home to fill the minors here, last time out.

The mile looks to be his pet trip and he looks the runner to beat in this contest.

Wagga: Race 7 (4:50pm AEDT)
No. 3 Defy

Defy has been a consistent performer this preparation and strikes a winnable race at Wagga this afternoon.

The son of Ad Valorem doesn’t win out of turn, but he has found form around some quality horses this preparation and has contested several races in town.

He was last seen finishing fourth in BM58 company here and might not be offered a better opportunity to win.

No. 5 Ons Vier

This looks to be one of the more open races on today’s Wagga card and Ons Vier has claims on winning at a lovely price ($10 at publish).

Ons Vier has continued to improve with racing this preparation and was last seen charging home to score in BM66 company at Corowa.

She is rock-hard fit, drawn to receive a lovely run from barrier 5 and we can have an each-way play at the price.
