Sandown Park: Race 7 (8:49pm AEDT)
No. 1 Sharni's My Girl

Sharni’s My Girl is drawn to receive all the favours in the seventh at Sandown Park tonight, and she will take plenty of beating.

The daughter of Banjo Boy has been a model of consistency this campaign and enters this race off the back of a credible performance for second behind Zipping Sultan at this track and distance.

She can go straight to the lead from Box 1 and will give them something to chase.

best bet
Sandown Park: Race 9 (9:28pm AEDT)
No. 2 Here's Tears

Here’s Tears is one of the country’s most talented chasers and he can record another win at Sandown Park tonight.

The talented son of Fernando Bale has been in typically strong form this campaign, and recorded a comfortable win at The Gardens two back before taking out the Group 3 Christmas Cheer at Wentworth Park last time out.

He relishes racing at this track and distance and is primed to win again.

Sandown Park: Race 11 (10:10pm AEDT)
No. 2 Interrogate

Interrogate has been knocking on the door of another race win and he looks well placed to get it at Sandown Park tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale has missed placing just once on his last seven starts and has charged home from central boxes to finish second at each of his last two appearances.

He’s drawn to find a nice position in transit from Box 2 and will prove tough to hold out.

Sandown Park: Race 12 (10:28pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Sandy Gem has returned several pleasing efforts this prep and is ready to win at Sandown Park tonight.

The son of Barcia Bale has been a model of consistency this prep and has found form around some quality greyhounds.

With even luck I think he’ll be winning, so I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi.

For value, I’m also going to select Busy Bella to run into the first three and Inga Ollie to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 8 Sandy Gem (Win)
  • 1 Busy Bella (Top 3)
  • 5 Inga Ollie (Top 4)
