Farmor Watchers will take winning form into Race 5 at Albion Park tonight and can make it two in a row.
The son of Kinloch Brae rarely runs a bad race, but his effort at this track and distance last time was particularly slick, and a repeat would see him winning again.
There’s not much value left in his quote, so I am instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build the bet out with other runners.
I’m also going to select both Bohemian Chariot and Blue Bandana to finish in the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 2 Farmor Watchers (Win)
- 4 Bohemian Chariot (Top 4)
- 7 Blue Bandana (Top 4)
This shapes as one of the better races on tonight’s Albion Park card, but I still think that Nando Dreamer is the one to beat.
Nando Dreamer has made just five appearances at the races since debuting but has more than stamped herself as a runner to follow, winning twice and finishing second on two other occasions.
She can go forward from the inside draw and will be tough to catch.
Katana has returned some lovely efforts recently and looks the runner to beat in Race 9 at Albion Park tonight.
The son of Barcia Bale has been a model of consistency and recorded a lovely win from a central box here three back, most notably.
He’ll have the benefit of an empty box on his inside this evening and needs only even luck in running to be in the finish again.
It will take his best form to beat race favourite Cool Change, but Coybig has returned some nice performances recently and looks a touch of overs at his current price ($9.50 at publish).
Coybig has raced almost exclusively at this track and distance this campaign, and was last seen flying home to finish second behind Junior’s Legacy.
He’s rock-hard fit, will get a nice cart into the race and at the price we can have a genuine each-way play.
