Hundred Degrees was undone by bad luck here last time out, but he can bounce back into the winner’s stall from Box 1 tonight.
The son of Fabregas has been excellent throughout his campaign and recorded three wins and two placings from the seven starts prior to his most-recent run.
I’m happy to put a pen through that one and give him another chance this evening.
Zipping Lawrence has enjoyed a glittering start to his racing career and he can record another win at Richmond tonight.
The son of Aston Dee Bee stamped himself as one to follow when recording three wins in succession on debut in November, and he returned from a freshen-up to fill the minors over 520m at Wentworth Park earlier this month.
With natural improvement, and with the benefit of an empty box on his inside, he will take plenty of beating.
Lenny Cortez will take winning form into the penultimate race at Richmond tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.
The classy son of Fernando Bale didn’t jump well, but he absolutely charged in here last week, so I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi.
For value, I’m also going to select Sonata to finish in the first three and Need For Speed to finish in the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 3 Lenny Cortez (Win)
- 1 Sonata (Top 3)
- 8 Need For Speed (Top 4)
Coco Suzy is a far better chaser than her recent record suggests, and this looks a great opportunity for her to bounce back into the winner’s stall.
The daughter of Paw Licking was checked out of her last race after taking up the running, and there doesn’t appear to be much speed engaged in tonight’s contest.
She can go forward again and will be tough to run down.
