Sketchy David has raced well without winning in his short career and looks well deserving of a maiden victory in this contest.
He can be forgiven for his last start over the track and trip where he was never really suited jumping from midfield. Has drawn and inside box and owns looks a good chance to make amends.
Full Barra doesn’t win out of turn, but he has to be respected with four wins and 11 placings to his name over this track and journey.
The three-year-old owns a handy 22.74 PB over the 400m at The Gardens and has drawn all the favours in Box 1.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
No. 1 Full Barra (Win)
No. 6 Fab Nikki (Top 3)
Fabio Lass was a winner two runs back at Taree before she found the 314m a little too short in his next assignment.
She should appreciate getting back to her favourite track on Friday as well as the step up to the 400m – a journey she’s won over nine times in the past.
Fernando Tree rarely runs a bad race over this distance and is the only runner in the field with a PB under 30 seconds.
He’s got most of these beat on paper with early speed to burn.
