Wentworth Park: Race 5 (8:28pm AEDT)
No. 1 Medio Paso

Medio Paso has returned some lovely efforts recently and strikes a winnable contest at Wentworth Park tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale doesn’t win out of turn, but she also rarely returns a poor effort, and she enters this contest off the back of another strong effort for second at this track and distance, having left from a central box.

She can go straight to the lead tonight and will give them something to chase.

Wentworth Park: Race 6 (8:48pm AEDT)
No. 1 Roman Remiss

Roman Remiss has been a strong and consistent performer this time and can return to winning form at Wentworth Park tonight.

The son of Kinloch Brae recorded five wins in succession through September and October, finishing second after missing the kick at Goulburn two back before another luckless, though tough effort last time out.

He’s another runner whose chances of winning tonight have received a huge boost with a favourable box draw.

Wentworth Park: Race 8 (9:24pm AEDT)
Same Race Multi

Derry Express will take winning form into the eighth at Wentworth Park tonight and looks the one to beat again.

The son of Larkhill Jo has won four of his last seven starts, but his last start effort at Goulburn was particularly impressive and a repeat would see him winning again.

There isn’t much value left in his quote, so I’m instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi.

To increase the quote, I’m also going to select Firestone Alley and Magic Emgrand to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Derry Express (Win)
  • 4 Firestone Alley (Top 4)
  • 7 Magic Emgrand (Top 4)
Wentworth Park: Race 9 (9:45pm AEDT)
No. 1 Push Me

Push Me looks ideally suited to the conditions of Race 9 at Wentworth Park tonight, and she might not be offered a better opportunity to win.

The daughter of Fernando Bale’s last win also interestingly coincided with when she last stepped out at this track and distance.

On that occasion she was forced to cross the field from out wide, and she should be able to navigate to a positive position more easily tonight.
