The Bachelorette 2020 Form Guide

The Bachelorette 2020 Form Guide

We’re in for a history-making season of The Bachelorette, premiering tomorrow at 7:30 on Channel 10 when sisters Becky and Elly Miles become the first joint act in the shows long and prestigious history.

Not much is known about the pair, but may viewers would remember Elly’s stint as a contestant during Matt Agnew’s series of The Bachelor back in 2019.

In Elly’s previous life as someone vying for the Bachelor’s heart, Australia fell in love with the self-described “bogan country girl” with that down-to-earth demeanour and praise from the viewers for her charismatic ways.

As for her older sister, Becky, reports suggests that she regards herself as the quieter sister and some reports suggested that she dumped her then-boyfriend in order to appear on the show.

Becky has outright denied the reports, despite the reputation that quality publications such as Women’s Day have for truth in news.

Either way, it’s set to be a sensational series and we’re set for double the trouble as the Bachelors do everything to be with either one of Becky and Elly.

With there being two Bachelorettes this series, we’ve split the markets into team Becky and team Elly and studied the form of these aspiring Bachelors

BECKY BACHELOR FAVOURITES 🌹💖

Pete Mann (SA) – $1.30

Pete is a country boy at heart but now lives the dream as a cafe owner in Adelaide and opens the betting as the favourite to win Becky’s heart.

The cafe owner has recently suffered some heartbreak but is ready to go on national television to find true love on a reality dating show/

He describes his dream woman as “…happy, authentic, can laugh at themselves and others (and probably laugh at me!).”

Harry Harris (SA) – $4.50

35-year-old Harry describes himself as “Spontaneous, mischievous and confident”

Harry also has a 5-year-old son from a previous relationship (Well you’d hope that would be the case if he’s going on the Bachelorette) and will no doubt impress by playing the loving dad card.

His ideal date includes a trip to the zoo, before watching the sunset over the ocean with a glass of wine in hand – smooth.

Pascal Wallace (NSW) – $8

The Channel 10 Bachelorette website describes Pascal as “A fun-loving Bondi boy” and that he works hard and plays hard.

Pascal is the CEO of a healthcare and disability company and loves to party.

He has also represented Australia in dodgeball tournaments.

This bloke is likely to be ultra-competitive and might want to stay off his social accounts during the series.

Sam Vesica (NSW) – $10

The 35-year-old lawyer describes his perfect date as “…an activity like a hot air balloon ride, scuba diving or snorkelling, followed by a nice meal in a scenic location or by a fire.”

Fortunately for Sam, he’s in luck being on The Bachelorette as all of these dates are all expenses paid and done in a COVID-safe matter!

Shannon Karaka (NSW) – $11

The one-time winner of “Mr Polynesia Australia”, Shannon is the kind of guy that looks upon the bright side of life.

Shannon was raised in a strict Christian household, where things like reality TV and getting on the punt were probably not in favour, but having said that he seems rather wholesome.

Or is he?

Perhaps he would have been better off joining the cast of Married at First Sight 2017 when Deborah demanded she is matched with a Polynesian man, rather than poor old John.

ELLY BACHELOR FAVOURITES 🌹 💖

Frazer Neate (QLD) – $1.30

Frazer is a 28-year-old concreter from the Sunshine State who is always willing to go that extra mile for the one he loves, aww.

From those little unexpected surprises to having a romantic weekend away old mate Frazer just wants to put a smile on that special ladies face.

Real smooth operator this one.

Adrian Baena (QLD) – $4.50

According to his profile on the Channel 10 Bachelorette website, the biggest obstacle this 26-year-old has ever had was quitting the army.

Adrian describes love as “a beautiful warm feeling” and that he is looking for that next adventure with that special someone.

He may not have another tour of duty with the men and women of the Australian defence force, but he might in the battle of love on the Bachelorette.

Joe Woodbury (NSW) – $6

The 25-year-old describes himself as a lover, not a fighter.

Reports suggest he knows Elly from outside the show.

Joe also is a hopeless romantic and takes issue with people who are not family-orientated.

Adam Todd (WA) – $8

The Geologist from WA loves his AFL footy and surfing.

He has also brought a heap of science books to keep him entertained during his stay in the mansion.

Can he come up with the chemistry to win Elly’s heart? $8 says yes.

James Boggia (QLD) – $11

James is a pro-wakeboarder who is known to be a daredevil at his sport, but has struggled in the game we call love.

Decked out in tatts, James is a self-described softy on the inside.

Having recently had his heartbroken, James is having a crack in this year’s series and is a smoky in the Elly Stakes.

THE REST 🌹 💖

In the leadup to this series of The Bachelorette, a fair bit of the attention has focused around the winner of Mr. Italy 2019 Rudy El Kholti being a participant on the show.

Mr. Italy is currently $34 for Becky and $21 for Elly.

There’s also Jake who appears to dress up as Cupid upon introduction Elly ($17) and Becky ($17) who’ll probably make a big entrance but not do much thereafter along with 10 other blokes who have no chance.

Like all reality shows, some are just there to boost their profile and perhaps find themselves as either the next Bachelor or having a stint in paradise in the near future.

Some will also become cult favourites but have no chance of winning, sorry to spoil it for you, but then again you’ve come all this way reading a betting market preview of the upcoming series.

Also, as a hot tip – if you get a text from your mate who knows a bloke who’s girlfriend works at Channel 10 and is good mates with a cameraman that worked on the production of the show, just think to yourself – is it really the winner?
