Premier League Game Week 7 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 7 Tips & Preview

The English Premier League rolls into Game Week 7 with only two matches separating league leaders Everton from 15th placed Man U!

Proceedings get underway on Saturday morning (AEST) when the Wolves welcome the Eagles to Molineux Stadium.

Elsewhere, City look to bounce back against the blunt Blades, Liverpool welcome the red hot Hammers to Anfield and the Red Devils attempt to leapfrog the Gunners into the top ten!

Like clockwork, we have analysed all 10 Premier League Fixtures across the weekend and provided the punters with our best betting plays along the way!

WOLVES VS CRYSTAL PALACE
Wolves to Win $1.94

After a rocky start to the season the Wolves have been able to steady the ship, going on a run of three games without defeat and conceding just one goal across the trip.

Crystal Palace claimed their 2nd win of the season last time out, narrowly sneaking past relegation favourites Fulham. Roy Hodgson’s men are yet to register a clean sheet and have largely relied on Zaha to bail them out of trouble.

I believe the Wolves defence will prove too well organised for the Eagles to crack.

SHEFF UTD VS MAN CITY
Man City to Nil $2.35

Sheffield United find themselves sitting 2nd from the bottom without a win from six games, fortunately they’ve been dealt a friendly fixture this week…

City have been underwhelming compared to their lofty standards, dropping seven points across their opening five matches.

This fixture has been dominated by the Citizens in the past, with Pep’s side holding a perfect 5-0-0 record against the Blades, more impressively they are yet to concede a single Premier League goal against their foes.

With Chris Wilder’s side have only managing to find the net three times this season, I’m backing the Sky Blues to get this one done to nil.

BURNLEY VS CHELSEA
SGM: Pulisic to Score + Chelsea HT/FT + Over 2.5 Goals $5.44

Chelsea head to Turf Moor in search of their fifth straight PL fixture without defeat since going down to the champions in GW2.

Lampard’s side has claimed all three points on the road to Burnley in five of the pairs last six outings!

The Clarets will need to overcome a disastrous spell of form if they harbour hopes of taking anything away from this contest.

Christian Pulisic nailed a hat-trick in this fixture last season, the American should be named in that starting XI this weekend after an impressive showing off the bench in the UCL.

I’m backing the flashy winger to get on top of this contest early and lead the Blues to a comfortable victory.

LIVERPOOL VS WEST HAM
Over 3.5 $2.02

In years gone by this fixture would’ve represented three points in the bank for the Reds, though this weekend the competition points are well and truely up for grabs.

Klopp was dealt a devastating blow during the week with makeshift CB Fabinho joining both Van Dijk and Matip on the physio table, leaving the Reds with Gomez and (insert youth player here) to sure things up at the back.

Alternatively, West Ham’s squad has never more ripe! The Hammers have scored 11 goals across their past four matches, taking points away from Wolverhampton, Leicester, Tottenham and City!

Despite a depleted squad, Liverpool will still be full of confidence heading into this fixture having gone 62 league matches undefeated at Anfield.

With both attacking units firing on all cylinders, I’ll be backing a goalfest in this one.

ASTON VILLA VS SOUTHAMPTON
Southampton $2.70

Aston Villa dropped their first points of the season in GW6, when they were humbled at the hands of hat trick hero Patrick Bamford.

Dean Smith’s side will be looking to bounce back swiftly as they welcome the Saints to town.

Southampton have dominated this fixture in the past, claiming 13 for a possible 15 points over the pairs last five Premier League outings, scoring 16 goals to 5 across that trip.

Villa’s bubble looks to have burst against Leeds last time out, I’m backing them to fall back down to the rest of the pack with another defeat here.

NEWCASTLE VS EVERTON
Over 2.5 $1.82

League leaders Everton head to St James park to take on an unpredictable Toons outfit.

The Toffees suffered their first defeat of the season in GW6, after being completely outplayed by the Saints.

Ancelotti will welcome back huge attacking asset Richarlison from suspension, but will be without gun LB Lucas Digne who saw red last weekend.

Neither the Toffees or Toons have managed to keep a clean sheet since GW1, setting up what should be a free flowing affair.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS ARSENAL
Man Utd $2.02

Man United and Arsenal meet at Old Trafford with both clubs desperate to stay in touch with the top HALF of the table!

United are looking for their first home league win of the season after four failed attempts.

Ole’s men will take solace from a thumping 5-0 victory over RB Leipzig at Old Trafford mid-week, Rashford proving he’s a champion both on and off the ground, picking up a hat trick off the bench.

Recently, the Gunners have lacked creativity moving the ball forward, leaving the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette starved of the ball.

While, United finally sorted out their defensive structure and should be able to close out their opponents here.

TOTTENHAM VS BRIGHTON
Son Heung-min to Score & Spurs to win $2.75

The Spurs will be looking to put a disappointing Europa performance behind them when they welcome Brighton to the Hotspur Stadium.

Brighton are looking to claim their first win since game week one, while the Spurs are hoping to snatch their first victory at home.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min have linked up for an incredible nine goals so far this season, more than any other duo in Europe.

Son looks like scoring every time he takes the field, I’m backing the South Korean to extend his lead in the Golden Boot race and carry the Spurs to their first home win.

FULHAM VS WEST BROM
Draw $3.15

Newly promoted sides Fulham and West Brom both search for their first win of the season when they meet at Craven Cottage.

The last four meeting between this pair across all competitions have resulted in low scoring draws.

Both sides enter this contest of the back of a draw, while the Baggies have been force to split the points in three of their last four PL fixtures!

Neither side look competent enough to secure a win here, as such the Draw looks to be the value play at $3.15

LEEDS VS LEICESTER
Leeds $2.55

Game Week 7 is set to be rounded off in spectacular fashion when excitement machine Leeds United take on the Foxes.

Leeds declared themselves as real top 6 contenders last week, dismantling the previously unbeaten Villans in emphatic style.

Patrick Bamford was the star of the show, scoring his first PL hat trick and taking his season tally to six.

Meanwhile the Foxes bounce back from two straight defeats (one of which was at the hands of Villa) to record their fourth win of the season, snatching all three points away form Arsenal curtsy of a late Vardy strike.

Leeds’ full ground press is sure to cause Leicesters makeshift defence plenty of problems.
