The greatest team of all, the Geelong Cats, will win their 10th VFL/AFL Premiership on Saturday night against some team from Melbourne at the Gabba and we are here to make some money!
It is extremely clear to the Geelong faithful that Richmond have played their best football and the Cats will have no problem putting a nail in the coffin this weekend.
It has been a very long time for premiership success at the Geelong Football Club, having to wait nine years since they last lifted the cup and won’t it be sweet when the most courageous player of all time gets to do just that under the lights in Brisbane on Saturday?!
Our One Eyed Geelong Cats AFL Grand Final Preview can be viewed below.
It’s 2007. And one of the most brutal crimes ever witnessed in Melbourne took place.
Rumour has it that dozens of calls were made to police that evening reporting an assault.
The Geelong Football Club put 222 points on Richmond that evening to run away 157 point winners and kick start a 15 game winning streak that culminated in the 2007 Premiership.
The Cats had 15 individual goal kickers and equaled the ninth highest score in VFL-AFL history.
It set the Richmond Football Club 10 years to fully recover and they had to wait until every single (Richmond) player from that game retired to start again.
But that was then, and this is now.
Richmond lost their first final. Struggled past St Kilda. And then beat Port by a mere 6 points last week.
The Cats have won their past two games, at The Gabba, by 68 & 40.
The greatest player to have ever played the game, Gary Ablett Junior, will play his last AFL game on Saturday night at the age of 36.
He may have left the club after the 2010 Preliminary final but, just like Jesus Christ himself, he has risen again to play a pivotal role in the resurgence of this Geelong team.
He was instrumental last week against the Lions, willing himself to every contest, and producing some brilliance around goal.
The two-time Brownlow Medalist and eight time All Australian has to one of the most popular footballers in modern times and we’d love to see him ride off into the sunset with another premiership.
He will start the game on the half forward flank and although he usually burst in at the center bounces, we think he can snag a crumbing goal to kick start the Geelong team at a handy price too if you don’t mind.
“Freak.’
“Football genius.”
“He can do anything.”

Tom Hawkins has had an incredible year in season 2020.
He won his first Coleman Medal and was named the All Australian Full Forward and has been a catalyst to the success of the team.
And we know he’s a big game player.
He was judged best afield by one of the Norm Smith judges in 2011 and second best-on by Matthew Richardson as well
He gathered 19 disposals (15 contested) that day, took nine marks (7 contested) and booted 3.3.
He has been a model of consistency throughout his career and had arguably his best year at age 32.
He kicked 2.3 last week against the Lions and 4.2 the week before against the Pies.
He is a lovely kick for goal despite some hiccups in the Qualifying final and if he can snag 3 or 4 goals in the shortened game of 2020 that may be enough to get him the Norm Smith Medal at a healthy price.
He will also more than likely be playing on a no-name kid in Noah Balta who he will no doubt rag doll around the forward 50 with ease.
