We’re at the penultimate stage of Super Rugby Australia and this could be coronation time for the Brumbies.
They kick off the weekend against the Force knowing a win would give them an unassailable lead over the Reds who are on a bye.
In the other match the Waratahs and Rebels face off as both sides jockey for positioning in the upcoming finals.
Read on for our tips and previews for both Super Rugby Australia Round 9 matches here.
The Brumbies can wrap up the Super Rugby Australia minor premiership with a win over the struggling Force in Canberra on Friday night.
All signs are pointing to another massive defeat for the Force who are starting to show signs of fatigue after spending so long on the road as evidenced by their capitulation against the Reds.
After putting up their highest score of the competition against the Waratahs last week, there is every chance they will beat that number this weekend.
With the line currently at 19.5 points in favour of the Brumbies, this is a great chance to jump on that before it moves out further.
Both of these sides are capable of looking like world beaters on their day but have shown some frustrating inconsistency throughout the tournament.
In the last three weeks the Waratahs have gone from destroying the Reds to doing enough to get by the Force into last week’s utter capitulation against the Brumbies.
The Rebels stunned the Brumbies three weeks ago and then couldn’t break down the Reds in their most recent match having had a bye in Round 8.
With this match more than capable of going either way it’s worth taking a punt on the Waratahs with the value of them being underdogs.
