each way
Geelong: Race 5 (2:30pm)
No. 10 Kichierro

Kichierro has improved for three starts back from a spell and is ready to break his maiden at Geelong this afternoon.

The Pierro gelding needed his first two runs at Sandown and here at Geelong, but ran home well to finish a half-length second at Pakenham last time out, and harbour further improvement.

There isn’t a lot of exposed form here, but he does have a fitness and experience edge over plenty and at around the $10, he looks over the odds.

Geelong: Race 6 (3pm)
No. 3 Carnamah

The Wizard of the West jumps aboard Carnamah at Geelong this afternoon and I think the horse will take beating.

Carnamah has made just three appearances at the races so far, but finished second on debut before winning at Ballarat.

He was last seen finishing seventh behind the likes of Lord Bouzeron in a far tougher race at Caulfield and will relish this drop in class.

Geelong: Race 7 (3:30pm)
No. 7 Cincinnati Red

Cincinnati Red invariably pulls out a big run fresh and she strikes a winnable one first-up at Geelong this afternoon.

The Reset mare has been a good performer for the Corstens stable throughout her career, and has finished worse than second just once in five previous fresh attempts.

She’s drawn to receive a lovely run from barrier 2 and at $6, she is another horse that looks a touch of overs.

Geelong: Race 9 (4:30pm)
No. 11 Zeppa

Zeppa will take winning form into the last race at Geelong today and can continue his rise through the grades.

The Foxwedge gelding has made just two appearances at the races so far, but ran fourth behind Conceited on debut at Flemington and resumed for a smart win at Bendigo.

He has plenty of upside and looks to have a class edge over most of these.
