Albion Park: Race 4 (7:05pm)
No. 1 Good Vibrations

Good Vibrations has returned some good efforts without winning recently, but gets his opportunity at Albion Park tonight.

The son of Paw Licking has probably been more undone by awkward boxes more than anything recently, but should be able to navigate to a nice forward position from Box 1 in this.

Albion Park: Race 5 (7:24pm)
No. 1 Name Him Cooper

I concede that he would need to be at his very best to beat a runner like Smashniak Joker, but Name Him Cooper has returned some good efforts since debuting and at $12, we can have a genuine each-way play.

The son of Don’t Knocka Him has had four career starts for a win and two second placings, and will only improve into this race.

He has displayed lovely box speed and can use that to his advantage from Box 1.

Albion Park: Race 6 (7:45pm)
Same Race Multi

Rebel Spike will take winning form into Race 6 at Albion Park tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The son of Moreira has continued to improve with racing recently, but his last-start effort suggested that he has found peak condition, and he’s drawn to receive a lovely run from Box 1 tonight.

He goes on top of our Same Race Multi.

I’m also going to include Ava Surprise and Mamma’s Boy both to finish in the first four, for more value.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Rebel Spike (Win)
  • 4 Ava Surprise (Top 4)
  • 8 Mamma’s Boy (Top 4)
Albion Park: Race 7 (8:01pm)
No. 3 Xella Angel

Xella Angel has been a model of consistent recently and looks the one to beat in Race 7 at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Fernando Bale has missed a placing just once in her last eight starts, and was a dominant winner at this track and distance three starts back.

She’s rock-hard fit and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
