each way
Albion Park: Race 3 (6:39pm)
No. 1 Blue Emperor

Blue Emperor has probably been undone by drawing wide at his last few efforts, and I think that he looks a winning chance in this race after drawing Box 1, at a lovely price.

The son of Cosmic Rumble was a smart winner at Bundaberg four back, but has drawn terribly at his three subsequent starts and simply hasn’t been able to get into the race.

He can stalk the pace tonight and with even luck, can fight out the finish.

Albion Park: Race 5 (7:23pm)
No. 7 Aletheia

Aletheia has returned some eye-catching performances recently and looks the one to beat in Race 5 at Albion Park tonight.

The daughter of Fabregas recorded a smart win over 288m at Ipswich three back and has flashed home to finish second at her last two, both at this track and distance.

Her form from out wide is good and with even luck, she can finish over the top of her rivals.

Albion Park: Race 6 (7:45pm)
Same Race Multi

Special Was It has gone to another level recently and strikes another very winnable contest at Albion Park this afternoon.

The son of Magic Sprite continued to improve with each effort earlier this prep, but has won his last two in style, so he goes on top of tonight’s Same Race Multi.

The other two that have caught my eye in this contest are Wild Lilly and Cool Hand Rose, so I’m also going to select those runners to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 2 Special Was It (Win)
  • 1 Wild Lilly (Top 4)
  • 7 Cool Hand Rose (Top 4)
Albion Park: Race 11 (9:23pm)
No. 6 Special Hope

Special Hope will take winning form into the final race at Albion Park tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

She simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race, but Special Hope’s most recent effort to flash home and win was particularly impressive, and she’ll only improve for it.

She’ll have the benefit of an empty box on her inside for this race and will be tough to beat.
