Devil’s Cartel mixes his form but has to be respected with two wins from three starts over the track and distance.
The three-year-old is down in distance after running on for fourth over the 425m in a Grade 5 race at Bendigo last week. He’s worth forgiving on that performance and has drawn well for a bounce back.
All Inn Jasper has seen some support ahead of the second at Shepparton tonight and I think he looms as a serious chance from Box 1.
The son of Barcia Bale won on debut comfortably last week over the track and distance to add to Tony Duncan’s impressive record.
Duncan trained dogs have won seven of their last 12 starts over the previous fortnight, a trend well worth backing.
Such A Villain is down in distance and should take a power of beating in the third tonight at Albion Park.
The son of Dyna Villa ran on for third two starts back over the 520m but did find the same distance tough going in his latest outing.
The two-year-old is a four-time winner over the 331m however, and does have some strong form lines when racing out wide. She has plenty of early speed to get to the front and should prove tough to catch.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 8 Such A Villain (Win)
- Call Me Wisdom (Top 4)
- Lenny Talks (Top 4)
Winning Light looks tough to beat based on her recent performances.
The daughter of Cosmic Rumble found the placings two runs back over the track and distance and has also found the placings in three of her last five runs.
She’s drawn to get a nice run into the race from Box 3 and has an early speed advantage over the rest of this field.
