Premier League Game Week 34 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 34 Tips & Preview

Less than 24 hours after the final whistle of Game Week 33, Crystal Palace and Chelsea take to the field in the opening fixture of Game Week 34 of the Premier League.

The battle for Champions League qualification is heating up with six points separating 3rd through to 6th, with the Gunners a chance to enter that conversation when they host the Foxes on Wednesday morning.

Elsewhere, City look to bounce back from defeat against the Toons, Liverpool endeavour to take a step closer to immortality with a win against Brighton and Man U hope to go 10 league games without defeat as they head to Villa Park.

After a very profitable weekend of tipping, our Premier League Pundit is confident on hitting top bins with a couple more value packed betting plays in his Game Week 34 Preview below!

CRYSTAL PALACE VS CHELSEA
SGM: Blues to Win + Over 1.5 Goals + Willian to Score $4.30

Game Week 34 gets underway with a London Derby, as Crystal Palace welcome Chelsea to Selhurst Park.

The Eagles will be looking to avoid their fourth loss on the trot, after failing to score a single goal across their last three matches.

Alternatively, the Blues swagger their way into this contest off the back of a 3-0 drubbing of Watford, and are playing for their place in Champions League Football next season.

Chelsea has cleaned up in this fixture in the past, winning the last four contests against the Eagles, while conceding just twice.

The Blues’ recent success can be largely attributed to the form of Brazilian winger Willian, who has scored four goals since the resumption of play!

WATFORD VS NORWICH
Norwich $5.50

What is probably the least appealing fixtures from a viewing perspective this week, is probably the most influential in the terms of shaping next season.

Watford are currently sitting in 17th place on the table with 27 points to their name, one point above both Villa and Bournemouth in 18th and 19th, a win here would be a huge step towards survival.

Meanwhile, Norwich are dead last, with just 21 points to their name, a win here gives the Canaries a glimmer of hope while a loss will all but book their spot in the Championship.

Neither team has claimed a win since the season restart, the Hornets were well beaten in the past two outings conceding six goals.

For Norwich there is more than just their PL existence on the line here, pride is at stake and if they were to ever stand up and put in a performance it has to be now!

ARSENAL VS LEICESTER
SGM: VARDY to Score + Over 2.5 Goals $3.03

The Gunners are looking force their way into the top six with their fourth win on the trot when they welcome the Foxes to the Emirates.

After a poor start after the resumption of play, Arsenal have strung together three impressive performances against Southampton, Norwich and most recently the Wolves, keeping three clean sheets and collecting all nine competition points.

Alternatively, Leicester claimed their first win since the league returned, dispatching the Eagles 3-nil at home.

Jamie Vardy broke his scoring draught, claiming his 100th league goal.

The Foxes won the last two meetings against the Gunners 3-0 and 2-0, although the now Brendan Rodgers coached side have failed to win away to Arsenal since 1973!

With Vardy breaking free form the shackles of which was his 100th top flight goal, I can easily see the Red Bull connoisseur start banging them in for fun again.

SHEFF UTD VS WOLVES
Draw $3.00

Sheffield United and Wolves go head-to-head in the 2019/20 Over Achievers Derby.

Both sides dropped points last time out, with the Wolves going down to the Gunners 2-0, while the Blades could only manage a point against the Clarets.

Sheffield turned Bramall Lane into a fortress this season, losing just five matches across 16 home fixtures, unfortunately they won’t be able to play off the energy of the crowd with covid restriction still in place.

Wolves too often rely on breaking down the game in the second half, once their opposition is well and truely fatigued, which may be difficult up against a well drilled Blades side with the assistance of quarterly drinks breaks.

I don’t often tip the draw, but on this occasions neither team have shown enough to warrant out and out favouritism.

WEST HAM VS BURNLEY
Burnley $3.80

Burnley have lost just one match since Game Week 23, which was away against City, they have taken significant points off Leicester, United, Tottenham and Arsenal across that trip.

Alternatively, West Ham have won twice in their last 12 PL matches and justifiably sit in 16th place on the table.

Furthermore, the Clarets have defeated the Hammers 3-0 and 2-0 across the pairs last two outings.

Burnley $3.80 to Win, take it and run.

MAN CITY VS NEWCASTLE
SGM: City HT/FT + Foden & KDB to Score $5.81

Thoughts go out to the Newcastle faithful whose side are set to face the Citizens of the back of an embarrassing loss to the Saints.

Pep decided to rest his two inform midfielders in Phil Foden and KDB against the Saints, which saw City clearly lacking a clinical finish.

Foden has been setting the league alight since the resumption of play, scoring four goals from two start, while De Bruyne has hit the back of the net in all of hi last three starts.

Understandably the Sky Blues are paying a dollar nothing here, with a value bet harder to come by than a genuine City fan.

I’m backing both dynamic midfields to get their names on the scoreboard once again in a wild Same Game Multi.

BRIGHTON VS LIVERPOOL
Liverpool HT/FT $2.38

Brighton take on the Champions, as Liverpool attempt to smash whatever Premier League records remain.

The Reds have faced the Seagulls five times previously in the PL, claiming all 15 points on offer.

Mo Salah has scored three goals across those meetings and will be keen to press his claim for back to back golden boots, currently sitting four goals behind Jamie Vardy.

Graham Potter has made a habit of resting his stars against the top sides, instead opting to start them in more winnable fixtures, this will have Klopp and his boys licking their lips.

BOURNEMOUTH VS TOTTENHAM
SGM: Kane to Score + Spurs to Win $2.55

Harry Kane would have this fixture highlighted in his diary, with a bag of goals there for the taking!

The Cherries have officially gone rotten, winless across their last eight league fixture, they haven’t looked close to winning since the resumption of play.

Eddie Howes side has seemingly given up on defending, conceding nine goals across their past two fixtures, last keeping a clean sheet in GW17.

Despite Tottenham battling through their own issues, Jose’s side would have to get lost on the way to Vitality Stadium in order to drop points here.

Harry Kane will no doubt be gifted a 1000 opportunities to score on Friday morning (AEST) and I’m backing him to covert at least one!

EVERTON VS SOUTHAMPTON
Everton $2.05

Southampton are out to prove their win over City wasn’t a fluke when they head to Goodison Park.

Everton are looking to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat to the Spurs earlier in the week, with multiple missed opportunities coming back to haunt them.

The Saints have been up and about since the resumption of play, winning three from the last four league fixtures.

The Toffees have been particularly impressive at home of late, taking points away from Liverpool, Leicester, and United in their last three games at Goodison.

The Saints have notoriously bad history at the Merseyside Stadium, last claiming three league points at Goodison back in 1997 (15 games ago).

ASTON VILLA VS MAN UTD
SGM: Fernandes to Score + United to Win + Over 2.5 Goals $4.06

Last but not least, United press for a spot in the top for at the expense of Aston Villa’s survival hopes.

As stated previously, Man U are ten league games without defeat and have won their last three fixtures scoring 3+ goals!

Their defence has been equally as impressive, managing seven clean sheets across the trip!

Alternatively, Villa are nine matches without a victory and charging towards relegation.

United are leading the league in penalties drawn this season (12) and are one short of the PL record held by both Leicester (2015/16) and Crystal Palace (2004/05).

Bruno Fernandes is the main beneficiary of said Pens, the Portuguese midfielder has taken control of the dead-ball situations to great effect!
