The Dundeel gelding hasn’t missed a place at his last five, winning at Warracknabeal two back before finishing a close-up second at this track and distance, and at this grade last time out.
He’s rock-hard fit and gets a relief in the weights with Campbell Rawiller aboard.
He’s The Real Deel will enjoy a decent drop in class at Pakenham this afternoon and is up to winning, at a price ($12 at publish).
The Dundeel gelding finished at the tail of field behind Mystery Shot at Caulfield last time out, but recorded two wins from his three starts prior to that effort.
He gets some relief in the weights today with a claiming apprentice aboard and is rock-hard fit.
Obi will enjoy good improvement into the last race at Pakenham today and can return to winning form.
The three-year-old son of Excelebration didn’t show a lot during his last preparation with Simon Wylde but returned a pleasing effort in his first start for Enver Jusufovic here earlier this month, that saw him flash home late.
He can settle a little closer today from barrier 5 and will be hard to hold out.
