Healesville: Race 7 (12:52pm)
Same Race Multi

Kireina relishes racing down the straight at Healesville and strikes another winnable contest this afternoon.

She has mixed her form a little recently, but her drawing of Box 1 should allow her to go straight to the lead and she will give them something to chase, so I’m going to select her as the winner in today’s Same Race Multi.

The other runners that have caught my eye in this contest are Superior Bont and Mumma’s Bear, so I’m also going to select those runners to finish in the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Kireina (Win)
  • 5 Superior Bont (Top 4)
  • 6 Mumma’s Bear (Top 4)
Healesville: Race 11 (2:27pm)
No. 1 Soho Girl

Soho Girl is another runner that rarely races poorly at Healesville, and she looks a winning chance in what is an open race this afternoon.

The daughter of Banjo Boy recorded consecutive wins here last month and was last seen filling the minors at the course and distance, finishing just half a length from the winner.

She can stay away from traffic from Box 1 and can win again.

Richmond: Race 5 (7:57pm)
No. 3 Spring Barty

Spring Barty has returned some big efforts recently and looks to one to beat in the fifth race at Richmond tonight.

The daughter of Barcia Bale has missed a place just twice in her last eight appearances, winning on four occasions, and she flew home to only just miss at Goulburn last time out.

I like that she’s a couple of weeks between runs and with even luck, she can return to winning form.

Richmond: Race 9 (9:20pm)
No. 5 Mottza

Mottza has been a model of consistency recently and strikes a very winnable race at Richmond tonight.

The son of Fernando Bale has missed a place just once in his last eight starts and ran home well from a wide drip to finish third behind the classy Leonardo Pearl at Maitland, last time out.

He can use his good box speed to cross the runners on his inside, and he’ll be hard to catch over the 400m.
