Round 5 of the NRL proved to be another tough slog for many of us, but that wasn’t the case for one lucky Neds punter.
Here at Neds, we absolutely love an NRL Same Game Multi and so does our punter in question.
He added three separate Same Game Multis to his betslip for one bigger combined price, slapped down $50 of his hard-earned and watched his investment flourish into an incredible windfall of $13,120.66!
Our punter made the three Saturday games his hunting ground, beginning when South Sydney lined up opposite the Titans at Bankwest Stadium.
The Titans pulled off the upset of the week in Round 4, but our punter rightly identified that they wouldn’t be able to do it two weeks in a row and skewed his first Same Game Multi towards the Bunnies:
South Sydney Rabbitohs -9.5/Over 43.5 (Line/Total Points Double), South Sydney Rabbitohs/Over 21.5 (1st Half Winner/ Total Points Double), South Sydney Rabbitohs (First Team to Score)
The Round 5 action then took us to Central Coast Stadium, and what loomed as one of the better contests of the week between the undefeated Newcastle Knights and the ever-dangerous Melbourne Storm.
For their usually lofty standards, the Storm’s form in Rounds 3 & 4 could perhaps best be described as shaky, but that clearly didn’t affect our punter’s confidence in Bellamy’s boys:
Melbourne Storm -3.5/Over 36.5 (Line/Total Points Double), Melbourne Storm/Over 18.5 (1st Half Winner/Total Points Double), Melbourne Storm (First Team to Score)
We then headed back to the Western Suburbs for the final game of the day, where the Raiders were looking to atone for a shock Round 4 loss at the expense of Wests Tigers.
Betting suggested that it was going to be a relatively carefree night at the office for the Raiders, but our punter had some faith in the home side:
Wests Tigers +8.5/Under 37.5 (Line/Total Points Double), Wests Tigers (First Team to Score)
Luke Brooks crossed for the game’s first meat pie in the sixteenth minute and incredibly, the Tigers managed to finish eight points off the pace of the Raiders.
A stunning performance from our punter and a big congratulations from all of us here at Neds!
