Fever Fury wasn’t able to get into the race from Box 4 here last week, but her form prior was excellent, and I am happy to give her another chance.
The daughter of Buck Fever has won five of her last eight starts, running second on another occasion, and burnt the clock at this track and distance a couple of weeks ago.
She can use her good box speed to go straight to the lead and she will be tough to run down.
Old Mate Koby has only made two appearances at the races so far, but he is clearly a dog of ability and can continue his impressive career start at Richmond tonight.
The son of Barcia Bale was a dominant winner in slick time on debut and flew home to finish a close-up second over 400m here last time out, so I’m going to select him to win in tonight’s Same Race Multi.
Isaac’s Spirit has also recorded a win and a second placing from only two career starts, so I’m going to select him to finish in the top two, while Roman Remiss adds value as a top four selections.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 6 Old Mate Koby (Win)
- 4 Isaac’s Spirit (Top 2)
- 7 Roman Remiss (Top 4)
Sure She Is has been a model of consistency recently and her drawing of Box 1 tonight has well and truly enhanced her chances of returning to winning form.
The daughter of Sh Avatar was an impressive winner at Bulli three starts back and has run a place at her last two, flashing home from out wide to fill the minors over 400m last time out.
She’s another runner who can go straight to the lead and she will give them something to chase.
Fix Your Tiara has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence, and she looms as the one to beat again in the tenth at Richmond this evening.
She’s had only five starts since debuting but has won on three occasions and is seeking a hat-trick of wins when she steps out tonight.
Barring any bad luck, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again and she is my best bet on the program.
