Waging War has a class edge over the lion’s share of his rivals in Race 6 at Sandown Park tonight and will take beating.
The talented son of Moreira has returned some excellent efforts recently, finishing a close-up second two and three starts back before a luckless run at The Meadows, which I am happy to forgive.
He’s rock-hard fit and can go straight to the lead from Box 1.
Mepunga Pegasus is a classy greyhound and will take a power of beating in the seventh race at Sandown Park tonight.
The son of Barcia Bale was an impressive winner at The Meadows two back and filled the minors in a decent race last time out.
Interestingly, the last time that he finished outside the minors was in the Group 1 Harrison Dawson Final here last month and as long as he holds his form, this looks a very winnable contest for him.
King Colt has probably been more undone by drawing awkwardly at his last two starts than anything, but he finally gets a chance to leave from Box 1 at Sandown Park tonight and I think that he’ll make it count.
The son of Brett Lee has returned some typically strong performances recently and has found form around some quality greyhounds.
He can slot in somewhere just behind the early pace tonight and with even luck, can finish over the top of his rivals.
This is a quality race and there is a case to be made for several runners, so I’m eager to place a Same Race Multi.
Cha Cha Charlie is an outstanding greyhound and is certainly up to fighting out the finish, so I’m going to select him to finish in the first two.
For value, I think that Max Dynamo can run a bold race from Box 1 and Wendalin Bale has claims, but will need the cross the field from out wide, so I’m going to select those two dogs to finish in the first four.
Our Same Race Multi tips are:
- 3 Cha Cha Charlie (Top 2)
- 1 Max Dynamo (Top 4)
- 8 Wendalin Bale (Top 4)
