The Table Tennis tournament that never ends continues today with the highly anticipated matchup between Visual Vasil Smyk and Voluptuous Volodymyr Melnykov.
Visual Vasil goes into this game the underdog having lost five out of his past eight matches and has been feeling the pressure from his coaches, fans, Ukrainian Ping Pong Media and himself.
Known to wear his heart on his sleeve, this Lleyton Hewit-esque Table Tennis star is an absolute rollercoaster of emotion.
Voluptuous Volodymyr is on a roll at the moment.
Currently, on a five-game winning streak, Volodymyr Melnykov is starting to believe that he could go all the way and win the Setka Cup.
He has won six out of the nine encounters against Vasil Smyk and is the hot favourite going into today.
The first two sets of this game should be ripper and I expect both players to take one each.
The match starts at 4 pm AEST.
Two of our all-time Table Tennis favourites in Fabulous Florian Bluhm and Sexy Sven Happek meet again and will no doubt add another chapter to one of the great Ping Pong rivalries.
Sexy Sven has been in good form of recent, winning three out of his five matches in last weeks Challenger series but he is coming off a bad 4-0 loss at the hands of the unstoppable Dauud Cheaib.
Fabulous Florian also suffered at the hands of Cheaib to close out last week, going down 4-1.
He had a solid week winning three out of his four matchups.
Florian Bluhm will go into the game the clear $1.30 favourite in our head to head market and will be confident in taking on Sven Happek given he has won 14 out of their 18 meetings.
While you’d expect Fabulous Florian to get the job done, expect Sexy Sven to come out all guns blazing at the start of the match.
