It’s fitting that on the first day of winter, we have a crack at our weather markets.
The weather of the people’s republic of Western Australia’s capital has been very good to us, and we’re having another crack at it to start the week off right.
The BOM has forecast something pretty simple in Perth today: Partly cloudy. Light winds. Max 19 degrees.
I’m confident that Perth’s forecast will go to script.
While it seems our bookies might be on to something the meteorologists are not, I’m happy to take Perth’s max forecast to reach the 19 degrees and start the week on a winning note at solid value.
The Challenger Series of Table Tennis gets underway for another week with the highly anticipated matchup between Fabulous Florian Bluhm taking on Dirty David Steinle in the men’s singles.
Fabulous Florian has been in great form of recent and goes into this match the clear favourite, having won four out of his last five matches,
Many in Table Tennis circles are starting to think he might just win the entire tournament if he can keep up this good form.
His opponent, David Steinle will be no easy beat in this match up.
Steinle has also had a great run of form, winning four out of his last five but going down in straight sets in his most recent game.
Fabulous Florian and Dirty David have only met once, with Fabulous getting the chocolates.
You simply cannot beat winning form and Florian Bluhm has it in spades at the moment.
I’m backing him to get the job done 4-1.
