It’s a great day for the German Table Tennis community as the highly anticipated return of Ping Pong will see the start of the Dusseldorf Masters tournament.
While the fans won’t be able to pack out the German Table Tennis Stadiums there’s no doubt that the clash between Alberto Mino and Gerrit Engemann will be a ratings blockbuster.
Before we were rudely interrupted, Alberto Mino found himself on a losing streak with five losses on the grot before he was able to conjure up a 3-1 victory against Pawel Grela in the German Challenger Series.
His opponent Gerrit Engemann was also not in the best of form prior to the shutdown and goes into this game with two losses on the trot.
Both gentlemen have not played a game since early March and will be eager to get back to the Ping Pong Table.
Alberto Mino goes into this match the favourite, but there’s some good value to be found with Gerrit Engemann at the $2.50 price.
The match gets underway 6:30 pm AEST.
I’m backing the underdog in this one.
Back by no demand what-so-ever, Big Brother returns to our TV screens tonight – this time on Channel 7 which means the show has now had a run on all three major networks.
Unlike the good old days where the people decided who left the house, it’s now up to the housemates and there’s no doubting there’s going to be a few new things to spice up the format.
Former Gold Coast Suns and Carlton player Daniel Gorringe is going into the house and is the market favourite.
There’s no doubt his performance in the Big Brother House will surpass whatever he did on the footy field – he’ll tell you that himself.
All roads point to Gorringe winning this series and finding himself a job on Breakfast radio within the next six months.
Take him at the even money.
Big Brother is back!
While the idea of people being locked in a house for a long period of time and being monitored isn't as novel as it once was, there's still plenty to look forward to.
We analyse the form and chances for all 20 housemates for the new series. #BBAU
