Danish outfit North face their countrymen Heroic in the Group Stages of Europe’s Spring 2020 DreamHack Masters.
After one round of fixtures in Group A North sit in second place after seeing off G2 Esports 2-1, while Heroic occupy last spot after falling to world #1 ranked side Astralis 2-0.
North have failed to set the CSGO world alight of late, winning just 50% of the contests across the past two months.
While Heroic were inactive over April, they sprung right back into action this month with a 71% win rate, which included a victory over North.
Heroic have dominated recent meetings between the two Danish sides, winning their last three matches against North at a canter.
We’re set remain at the European DreamHack Masters as World #1 CSGO side Astralis square off against the highly rated G2 Esports.
Astralis are on an absolute tear at the moment and are looking to win their tenth match on the trot when they take on the world #5 G2.
The is no respite for G2 in the H2H history between these two sides, with Astralis winning ALL eight previous encounters, a streak made all the more impressive by the fact that they have only dropped one map to the Frenchmen!
Astralis only just pulled down G2’s pants in the Road to Rio final last week with a commanding 3-0 victory in their best of five match, I can’t see much changing this time around.
