We’re heading back to the China Professional League today, where Invictus Gaming look to flex all over CDEC.
iG are currently sitting 2nd on the league ladder and are the only side to have knocked off the first placed Royal Never Give Up, seeing off China’s top side 2-0.
CDEC enjoyed one of their best months to date during April, claiming 10 wins and only going down on three occasions, unfortunately one of those losses was at the hands of Invictus Gaming.
iG have won six of the last eight head to head matches against CDEC and are clearly a class or two above their opponents here.
Our focus remains firmly on the China Dota2 Professional League as Sparking Arrow Gaming look to get off the mark with a victory over Team Aster.
Team Aster are sitting in 4th spot on the table as we enter week four of the regular season, holding a 4-2 record highlighted with wins over PSG and Invictus Gaming.
Alternatively, SAG are labouring near the bottom of the ladder with a 0-3 record, although they have faced three of the leagues top four contenders.
SAG is relatively new to the scene, as such these two sides have only meet on one other previous occasions, which the new kids on the block took out 2-0.
With almost even money on offer I’m backing Sparking Arrow Gaming to break their duck in China’s top league at the expense of Team Aster’s top four position.
