It’s an all French affair in the Lower Bracket finals of the European ESL One: Road to Rio as Vitality take on G2.
These two sides couldn’t be more evenly matched, Vitality are currently ranked 6th in Europe while their opponents are one spot above in 5th.
Both teams finished the regular season with a record of four wins and three loses, although G2 boast a superior for and against of +34 rounds.
The two French outfits have met on two previous occasions, with each side claiming a tight 2-1 victory.
This contest has all the makings for a three map thriller, as such I’ll be tipping the overs.
We now move onto the Upper Bracket Finals where Global CSGO big dogs Astralis and FaZe fight for a spot in the Grand Final!
Astralis is the top ranked CSGO team in the world at the moment and fly into this contest with a 100% win rate for the month.
FaZe are on their own impressive run of form, wining their last nine straight games and finishing the Road to Rio group stage with a 7-0 record.
Unfortunately the H2H history is grim reading for Team FaZe who have fallen to Astralis 2-nil in the sides last three Bo3 map matches.
I’m backing the world’s best CSGO side to see this one through in straight sets.
