Richmond: Race 5 (8:25pm)
Same Race Multi

Aston Excalibur has been a strong and consistent performer recently and will take a power of beating at Richmond tonight, particularly having drawn Box 1. The son of Fernando Bale simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race, so I’m going to select him to win tonight’s Same Race Multi. The other two that have caught my eye are Tiger Nine and Spring Brigade, so I’m also going to select them to finish in the first three and four respectively.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

No. 1 Aston Excalibur (Win)
No. 6 Tiger Nine (Top 3)
No. 7 Spring Brigade (Top 4)

Richmond: Race 6 (8:45pm)
No. 2 Fast Car Driving

Fast Car Driving has returned some competitive efforts in tough races this year and is primed to win the sixth at Richmond tonight. The son of Kc And All was a smart winner at Wentworth Park four starts back and resumed from a brief let-up to filly the minors last week. He’ll enjoy good improvement from that effort and is up to something of this quality.

Richmond: Race 7 (9:05pm)
No. 8 Pamela's Girl

Pamela’s Girl has recorded some lovely results since debuting and with even luck from out wide, can win again at Richmond tonight. The daughter of Dyna Double One won on debut in March and hasn’t run a bad race in three subsequent appearances, winning on another occasion and finishing second at this track and distance last time out.

Richmond: Race 9 (9:49pm)
No. 5 Esther's Angel

Esther’s Angel will take winning form into the ninth at Richmond and can win again. The daughter of Fernando Bale has been a model of consistency recently and has finished worse than second only once in her last six outings. She’ll need to step well from the central box but if she does, she is probably the class runner of this group.
