Mister Harlewood has been absolutely airborne of late and looms as the one to beat again in the fifth at Sandown Park tonight.
The son of Worm Burner has won each of his last five starts and has simply never looked in doubt on any occasion, so I’m going to select him as the winner in tonight’s Same Race Multi.
The other two that I like in this contest are the consistent Zipping Truvy and Group 1 winner Just Terms, so I’m going to select those runners to finish in the first three and four respectively.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 Mister Harlewood (Win)
- 2 Zipping Truvy (Top 3)
- 5 Just Terms (Top 4)
Simon Told Helen will take winning form into the sixth at Sandown Park tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.
The son of Barcia Bale has been in strong and consistent form all preparation, winning the Group 1 Perth Cup in March and returning several outstanding efforts in the wake of that performance, including one at this track and distance last week.
He’s rock-hard fit and with even lick from Box 3, should be winning again.
Tornado Tears hasn’t been seen at the races since February, but he is one of Australia’s best-ever stayers and he can make a winning return at Sandown Park tonight.
The multiple Group 1 champion was a typically strong and consistent performer last time in, winning the Group 1 Bold Trease Final at this track and distance most notably.
He’s reportedly forward enough to win this race fresh, but I am more than happy to back him on class alone.
King Colt relishes racing at this track and distance and will be tough to beat in the tenth at Sandown Park tonight.
The talented son of Brett Lee rarely runs a bad race, but his record here is particularly good, and he is drawn to receive all the favours tonight.
If he utilises his box speed effectively, he’ll give them something to chase.
