Gypsy Yankee has only made three appearances at the races so far, but he is clearly an above-average greyhound and he can continue his rise through the grades at Sandown Park tonight.
The son of Fernando Bale finished second here on debut and has won each of his two subsequent starts in dominant fashion and slick time, so I’m going to select him to win in today’s Same Race Multi.
Lawson Drive has shown plenty of promise, as has Red Light Rico, so I’m going to select both runners to finish in the top four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 6 Gypsy Yankee (Win)
- 2 Lawson Drive (Top 4)
- 5 Red Light Rico (Top 4)
Potent has returned some pleasing efforts recently and will be tough to beat in the sixth at Sandown Park this evening.
The daughter of Barcia Bale recorded consecutive wins at Geelong before another fair effort for fourth here last week, and I think that she’ll take good improvement for that experience into this contest.
She needs only even luck from the draw to fight out the finish.
Karma Bale ran into traffic from a central draw last week, but her performance and win from Box 2 two starts back was outstanding and she can bounce back into the winner’s stall tonight.
The daughter of Allen Deed has mixed her form a little, but when she’s turned it on, she’s won in utterly dominant fashion and from Box 1 tonight, I’m happy to be with her.
Houdini Boy looks a good type on the rise, and he can record another win at Sandown Park this afternoon.
The son of Zambora Brockie won on debut here and has placed at his two appearances in the wakee, including a close-up second from out wide here last week.
I’m looking forward to seeing what he can muster from an inside draw.
