Zipping Junior has returned some enormous performances recently and will take beating in the fifth at Richmond tonight.
The son of Zulu Zeus has won five of his last eight starts, placing on two other occasions, so I’m going to select him to win in tonight’s Same Race Multi.
I’ve also been impressed with what Spring Brigade and Full Powered have produced recently, so I’m going to pick both to finish in the Top 4.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 8 Zipping Junior (Win)
- Spring Brigade (Top 4)
- Full Powered (Top 4)
She’s only had one career start so far, but she could hardly have been more impressive, and she is primed to keep alive an unbeaten career start at Richmond tonight.
The daughter of Fernando Bale was expected to return a big effort on debut and she certainly did not disappoint, comfortably scoring at this track and distance to the tune of five lengths.
She’ll only improve for that effort and I am happy to continue riding the wave until she gives me a reason not to.
I conceded that odds-on favourite Sneaky Marquee will be tough to beat, but Oscar’s Alibi has been racing well and is not without a chance of winning at an each-way price today ($8.50 at publish).
The daughter of My Bro Fabio did take a few to get going this time but was a dominant winner at this track and distance two back before a tough, but competitive performance from a central box at Bulli last time out.
She’s rock-hard fit and with even luck, can fight out the finish again.
Blazing Explorer will take winning form into the ninth at Richmond tonight and looks well place to make it two in a row.
The son of Magic Sprite has mixed his form a little of late but his last-start effort, a strong performance to win at this track and distance from the sticky Box 5, was amongst the best that he has produced.
Anything close to that would find him hard to beat again, particularly from Box 1.
