The never-ending Setka Cup continues as the best in the Eastern Bloc fight it out for the holy grail in Ukrainian Table Tennis.
This afternoon’s matchup between Maksym Mrykh and Andrii Kurtenko is set to be a ripper and as of time of publishing – the punters can’t split the two with both being at $1.83 in the betting market.
Mrykh will go into this match with plenty of confidence after a stunning straight-sets win over Kurtenko overnight, where he dominated from start to finish.
Experts believe that this was just an off-night from Kurtenko and expect him to bounce back quickly, given he has won seven out of his last nine Setka Cup matchups.
For what it’s worth, I believe that Mrykh has been living rent-free in Kurtenko’s head overnight and while I expect a bit more of a fight from him, I expect Maksym Mrykh to make it two on the trot.
The BOM has forecast a very Melbourne-like day “Areas of morning fog and cloud clearing to a sunny day. Light winds becoming northerly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then easing to around 10 km/h in the evening.”
That’s as good as an autumn day you’ll get in Melbourne.
After some pretty damn cold and wet weather of recent, Melburnians have a pretty good excuse keep staying inside and avoid things like playing Golf but today might be a little bit of a tease for them.
Having said that, I’m feeling an even decimal temp for an even time of the day.
Once the cold fog clears, it’s a beautiful autumn day. Bright sunshine and light winds letting temperatures rise. We can expect 19C in the city tomorrow. 7NEWS meteorologist @JaneBunn with your forecast. #7NEWS pic.twitter.com/wcAwHD7YPC
