Neds Available World of Sports

Available World of Sports: Tuesday, 19th May

Perth Forecast
Max Temp: 19.05 - 19.55 @ $3.60

During this time of the sports shut down due to COVID19, weather betting, especially in the great city of Perth has been quite good to us here at the Available World of Sports and we’ve had some solid fill-ups on the max temp.

Perhaps its the time difference, perhaps its the time of year, perhaps it’s just that good understanding of what the Fremantle Doctor can do – but Perth has been very good to us and we’re looking to back another winner today.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast “Areas of smoke haze early this morning. Sunny day. Light winds. Max of 19 degrees.”

That looks like a pretty bloody nice day in my books.

In fact, the day is so nice I can’t understand for the life of me why those pampered Victorian AFL Clubs wouldn’t want to go over to Perth and self-isolate for 14 days in order to play in an Optus Stadium hub?

For what it’s worth I’m happy to take the decimal to be around the .05 – .55 decimal range when we get to the top of 19 degrees at the solid $3.60 price.

Set 1 Winner - Sergey Tkachev @ $2.05

Another trusty favourite of ours during this period has been Ukraine’s Setka Cup Table Tennis tournament with punters and sports fans in general getting around the action of this tournament that never seems to end.

We focus our attention on this afternoons clash between Sergey Tkachev and Andrey Panyushkin which is set to be a fascinating encounter.

Sergey Tkachev goes into this game with some good form having won three of his past four matches including a dominant straight-sets, upset win over Andrey Panyushkin for whom he meets today.

Punters expect Panyushkin to bounce back going in as the $1.53 favourite in the head to head market.

Panyushkin has had a sensational Setka Cup campaign winning six out of his past seven games and many in Setka Cup Circles regard his loss to Tkachev as just a bump in the road.

For what it’s worth, I expect Andrey Panyushkin to bounce back, however, Tkachev will go into this game with plenty of swagger and won’t fear his opponent.

I wouldn’t be shocked if he took home the first set.
